Who’s Gonna Save My Soul Now? A new Gnarls Barkley video starring a dude whose voice sounds just like Edward Nortons. Great video, great song. A+
Wow! That’s really amazing!
“McCain aides said that the senator’s journey to the Internet will span five days and will take him to such far-flung sites as Amazon.com, eBay and Facebook.”
HAHAHA!

How come the video always makes you appreciate the song more? I wish my iTunes was full of high quality music videos.
EDIT: This is a Converse commercial!!! Note the shoes throughout and the logo at the end.

The story:
Streeter, myself, and a group of people thought of the idea coming back from Internet Commenter 3. The consensus was that the internet commenter series was becoming hackneyed and we would have to find another funny computer-y premise.
Everyone on Editorial contributed ideas, and Dan and Streeter crafted the script, their only stipulation being that they got to play Wingdings and Old English respectively. Since there were so many roles, we decided in order to lighten the budget that everyone from Editorial should play a part. This is the first time Vince, our cinematographer, has played a role (Ransom). Vince is an absurdly talented actor, and doesn’t step in front of the camera more often simply because he’s usually behind it.
We shot at Kingsborough College, where we also shot Honest College Ad and Why Girls Don’t Fart, making this the third hit video the location has spawned for us. It was a disorienting shoot, done in bits and pieces depending on what was convenient for lights, and by the end of the day, we weren’t sure we had everything we needed. We did a second day for Ransom and Comic Sand in our landlord’s warehouse and had to pause several times for Hasidic Jews to cross frame.
Our new editor Adam’s cut was quickly genius and our composer Dimitri’s score was the icing on the cake. This has been up for less than 10 hours and has 40 reblogs, 3,000 Diggs, and 100,000 views.
Great work, everyone.
My faaaavorite so far.

Now Do This - Jakob Lodwick’s new site that he just showed me, “It came out of my deep need to organize my damn day” — idea to finish in about two hours todayI like the minimalism. Pretty cool.
I’m reading this book now called “The Drifters”. A good bit of it takes place in Pamplona during the running of the bulls. This year’s events took place right when I got to that section. Pretty cool!
